Journals Annoy Me
AnnoyedOkay, so I have been super busy this week. With school and clothes, I just haven't had time to even check my emails for five days. Which is like a record for me. I usually at least check my emails.
So, naturally, if I have not had time to check my email, then I have definitely not been able to check deviantART.
So today, I decided it was time to check the computer. I logged onto dA, and I had over 15 messages (Which is usually exciting for me since I don't get many messages. Hah.).
When I clicked on the messages, they were ALL JOURNALS. (well, one reply from Jenni, thx Jenni!
)I normally don't have a problem with journals. I usually like to know whats going on in the lives of my favourite artists. But lately they have been getting extremely annoying.
I'm not really sure what the point of these journals are, but I believe its something about journaling your life and art growth or whatever. But it seems like most of my favourite artists are just using it as a sort of blog thing.
I like to read blogs, but not on deviantART. And when I get more Journal Entries than deviations, I honestly don't care about an artists' life. I didn't decide to watch them because of their awesome journal entries! I liked their artwork!
I have actually deleted a few of them because I didn't like their Journals.
I'm sorry if I offended anyone or anything. (doubt it, because no one reads my journals. oh well.
) I don't mind journal entries and I like to know what is going on in an artist's life, but I don't want a daily journal from each artist complaining about how they have no inspiration for their art.(Speaking of inspiration on art, I've been lacking lately. Or just lately. Sorry. Oh well.)
